MineWalker
Android game
Minesweeper with no guessing, as an adventure.
MineWalker turns minesweeper into a sapper's adventure seen from above, in the spirit of Heroes of Might and Magic III. On every explored cell the mine detector shows how many mines hide in the eight around it — that many lights glow and it beeps that many times — and you lead the sapper from the supply crates to camp. The generator checks that every map can be solved without guessing, so there is never a 50/50. It is TypeScript and Three.js wrapped for Android, with the music and sound synthesized in code.

What it does
No guessing
Every map is generated and checked to be solvable by logic alone. Stuck? A hint reveals a safe cell and the readings that prove it.
Move points and days
Steps cost move points, like turns in a strategy game. Out of points, end the day: night falls and morning brings them back.
Five campaigns
25 maps: forest, desert, snowfields, river and islands, then the Dead Marsh, Low Tide on the coast, the Night Shift and the Fortified Line. Then a free hunt of endless maps on expert logic.
Mines that behave differently
Anti-personnel mines cost a life, signal mines end the day, anti-tank mines only threaten a vehicle, tripwires show up close, and heavy mines count twice on the detector.
Vehicles and water
A jeep, snowmobile, swamp buggy, boat or motorboat halves every step and takes the blast of an ordinary mine. Tides flood the shoals, and on night maps tripwires show only up close.
Eight heroes and gear
Each hero has one specialty — an extra probe, more move points, an extra life. Coins from cleared maps buy gear at the depot, and none of it ever reveals a mine.
Daily challenge
One new map a day, the same for every player, in normal and hard. Keep your streak and share the result.
